ORDERING:

Q. Do I have to pay sales tax?
A. Currently we charge sales tax in Florida.

Q. What payment methods are accepted?
A. Our payment processor is PayPal.  We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Q. Can I pay by check/money order?
A. Not at this time.

Q. Can I Order Over The Phone?
A. Unfortunately we cannot take phone orders at this time. Our telephone staff is dedicated to customer service and special orders only.

Q. What size should I buy?
A. Please view the sizing chart for approximate sizing of all of our garments. All garments inherently vary slightly in sizing from style to style.

Q. If I sign up for the email list, will I get spam?
A. No, we value our customers' privacy and you will only be contacted by our company. We do not disclose customer information to any third parties or sell our customer lists.

Q. How should I care for my apparel items?
A. Due to the nature of the materials and washes we use to manufacture our unique garments, it is recommended to air dry items and wash each garment inside out on a gentle wash cycle. Some items are extremely delicate and should be dry cleaned only. Please refer to all wash instructions on each garment prior to washing.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A. We will make every effort to ship your order within 3-7 business days of receipt. During the holidays, our order processing time may increase due to US Postal Service backups.

Q. What if an item is out of stock?
A. Although every attempt is made to offer products that are currently in stock, we may go out of stock on certain items from time to time. In such a case, you will be notified by e-mail and we will ship the portion of your order that is in stock. The items that are not in stock will be cancelled from your order and you will not be charged for those items. Please check back as these items may come back in stock at a later time.

Q. What does (Preorder Only) mean?
A. These are items that are not in stock yet and are available to preorder. This means that you can place your order and we will ship these items to you as soon as we do get them in stock. We will not charge your card until we have pulled the item and prepared it to be shipped to you.


Q. Is your site secure?
A. We strive to make your shopping experience as secure as possible. We use secure socket layer [SSL] protocol, the industry standard for ensuring the security of your electronic commerce transactions. SSL uses 128-bit encryption for all personal information in transit over the Internet, including your credit card number, name and address. This technology is designed to protect your information.


DEPOSITS:

All custom spear gun orders require a 50% deposit.
Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery on all custom orders.


SHIPPING:

Orders within the United States are shipped by the US Postal Service (Priority Mail) which takes 3-7 business days depending on your location in the US. Your order will usually ship within 3-7 business days after you receive an emailed confirmation by Blue Water Sensations of your order. Blue Water Sensations does not ship to PO boxes. We can only ship to your credit card billing address for security reasons. If you would like to ship to a different address you will need to call your credit card company and have them add an alternate address to your card. We will make all efforts to ship your order within 3-7 business days of receipt. We do not ship on Saturdays and Sundays. All orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed that following Monday. During the holidays and Sundays, our order processing time may increase. Blue Water Sensations charges sales tax for orders shipped to Florida. Recipients of orders shipped to other states are responsible for complying with state and local tax laws.

International Shipping:
For orders shipped outside of the United States, your order will be shipped via USPS Global Priority Mail or UPS International. Delivery times vary by destination, most orders should arrive within 21 days of shipment. All payments are made in US Dollars. The order total does not include customs duties or international taxes. The customer is responsible for any non-US taxes or import duties which may be levied by local authorities. Please check your countries import and taxation policies before ordering.


RETURNS:

Q. Can I return an Item?
A. Return policy varies depending on the item. All speargun sales are final, once the gun is submerged, it is no longer considered "new" and can not be returned. This does not include defects prior to use. Returns on defects will be handled on a case by case basis.

THREE REASONS FOR RETURNS:
1. Wrong Size.
2. Wrong Item Shipped.
3. Defective Item.

To receive authorization for a return, you must contact customer service at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to obtain a Return Authorization number known as an RA number BEFORE SHIPPING THE ITEM/S BACK. All returns that are not exchanged for another item and are refunded are subject to a 15% restocking fee.


Please note, we do not backorder. If the requested items are not in stock by the time we process your RA, your credit card will be refunded for the value of the items returned to our warehouse to avoid further delay on your request. (in which case the 15% restocking fee will be waived)


* All items must be returned in a new, unworn, and unwashed condition. All original tags must still be attached. Also include the original invoice with the RA# written on it.
* Please specify the reason for the return on the original invoice.
* If you were to receive a defective item, you must notify us within 5 business days of when you received the product to qualify for a return or exchange. If you fail to provide us with a prompt notification, we will not authorize your return or exchange.

Once you receive your Return Authorization number, you must than ship the item(s) back within the specified time period (14 business days) to receive an exchange or the RA# will become null and void. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

We do not refund shipping costs on returns and or exchanges, unless there was a processing error on our behalf. If such an error occurs we will refund up to $9.99 for return shipping.

Return authorizations must be requested within 3 weeks of the original ship date for all domestic orders, and within 1 month of the original ship date for International orders.

Pack your item(s) in the original shipping box if possible and insure your package for the full value of merchandise and return it to us using the delivery service of your choice. Include your RA# and original invoice. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return packages. We will notify you via e-mail once your return has been processed.

SPEARGUNS:

Spearfishing is inherently dangerous and all necessary precautions should be taken prior to engaging in any spearfishing related activities. Do not load or unload your spear gun out of the water, but treat every gun as if it were loaded. Never point your spear gun at anything you do not intend to shoot and keep your finger straight and off of the trigger until you intend to fire. Failure to adhere to these guidelines could potentially result in physical harm or death. Blue Water Sensations is not responsible for any loss, damage, harm, or death caused while using a Hatch Custom or Amero Spear Gun.

Q. Why use a Hatch Custom Made Speargun?

Q. What is the warranty of a Hatch Custom Speargun?
A. Lifetime warranty of craftsmen ship. (ex; warping, track separation, wood splitting)

Q. Do accessories come with the Hatch Custom Spearguns?
A. Yes, all guns come with a shaft, 2 power bands, and a reel mount.

Q. Do Hatch Custom Spearguns require maintenance?
A. Yes, they should be rinsed with freshwater after each dive day, and teak oiled as needed.

Q. What size and style Hatch custom Speargun do I need?
A. This depends on the type of fish and water visibility you are in, however the most popular choices are the 50 in and 55 for the mid-handle series, as well as the 105 cm and 115 cm in the Amero series.

Q. What thickness bands should I use with a Hatch Custom Speargun?
A. We recommend two 5/8 diameter, however two 9/16 diameter will work and for competition diving one ¾ diameter band can be used.

Q. What shooting line do you use?
A. We use 300 lb Jinkia mono, witch has the diameter of 275 lb standard mono.

Q. What level of spear fisher person can use a Hatch Custom Speargun?
A. All levels are able to use Hatch Custom Spearguns.
